Marshall is a town in Madison County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 872 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Madison County. Marshall is part of the Asheville Metropolitan Statistical Area. WebbMr. Jarrett was able to secure a lease agreement between the railroad and the town of Marshall, NC for the old depot for $1 a year. At the age of 90, Mr. Jarrett still comes to the Depot every Friday night to welcome folks and sell 50/50 tickets. The Depot is staffed by volunteers who adhere to Mr. Jarrett's motto "We Love Everybody."
