Hiding speaker wire in carpet
WebI’m moving into a new place with beige carpet and there are a few places where I’ll have no option but to run the wire over carpet to position my speakers optimally. I’m looking for recommendations on a tape that’ll hold these cables in place, reduce the tripping hazard and ideally blend in with the carpet. WebBasically, I'm trying to add 2 more channels to my 3.1 to create a 5.1 setup. However, as far as I know, the easiest way to hide the speaker wires would be to route them around the edges of my room, under the carpet. Is that an option? Can I untac the carpet and retac it? Or is there a simpler way to hide the wires?
